Now this is really interesting.
For the first time that I can remember, the typical traffic burst pattern established for more than a decade on theĀ Internet has flipped with the iPad: The spikes are coming on the weekend.
This bears further study, but this is an intriguing clue as to how those two million early iPad adopters are using their devices.
Actually, this has already happened with smart phones – the traditional pattern of people checking into websites when they're at work (9am, 1-2pm or just before they leave work/get home), is balanced with people using their smart phone throughout the weekend.
The surprising thing is if it's as pronounced a difference with the iPad, which isn't quite as portable as a smartphone, but provides a better way to consume the content…
First the iphone hits the market and now the ipads, which ease the using of the internet for the end user. We can use internet where ever we want to use it, and do our work withoud and disturbance. thanks for the emerging technology.
I strongly agree with mention both of comments and yes it's true with the help of this emerging technology we able to access internet everywhere or anytime.
I think people started to use smartphones to more easily do things they used to do on their pc's, but the ipad is likely to also encourage additional use of the internet with users reading far more publications online than they ever did with their pc.
Nice read. Thanks for the emerging technology.

I like how the iPad is a happy medium between PC and smartphones. Technology is certainly dominating daily life more and more each day.
